This is one of those recipes I didn’t really believe would turn out and actually taste good.

Let me tell you, pasta has never been so easy.

Step 1: toss 12 oz of your favorite pasta in a pot. Uncooked.

Step 2: add 4.5 cups of water + salt or broth, a small can of tomato paste, and anything else you like in your pasta. (Here I added a sliced pepper, some chicken sausage, scallions, tomatoes, and garlic.)

Step 3: cook it on the stove, covered but stirring occasionally, until most of the water is absorbed. Then uncover and continue cooking until pasta is done.

That’s really it.
