My best banana bread, adapted from my mom’s trusty recipe, and permanently doubled.

Ingredients
  • 6 mashed too-soft-to-eat bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup apple sauce
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda dissolved in
  • 3 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon sour milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 cups of flour
Instructions
  1. mix ingredients together in the order listed above,
  2. bake at 350 for 45 - 55 minutes in greased bread pans, until sharp knife comes out clean; makes 2 loaves.
