My best banana bread, adapted from my mom’s trusty recipe, and permanently doubled.

- 6 mashed too-soft-to-eat bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup apple sauce
- 2 teaspoons baking soda dissolved in
- 3 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon sour milk
- pinch of salt
- 4 cups of flour
- mix ingredients together in the order listed above,
- bake at 350 for 45 - 55 minutes in greased bread pans, until sharp knife comes out clean; makes 2 loaves.
